Bistro am Markt in Cochem

Very nicely located bistro ... Outside there wasn't enough space for 4 people, but because the large window was open, it was also very pleasant and beautiful inside. Very friendly service and the tarte flambée are extremely tasty and also large and well topped. Hugo also tastes great. Price / performance are very good. Gladly again.

Very nice, clean bistro with nice staff and delicious food and drinks in a great location. We stopped in Cochem more often in 5 days and tried different wines, beers and tarte flambée. We have never been disappointed.

Hello .. I know .. that closes the bistro end of the year .. but then you go back and rip off local customers so .. I find a real impudence .. we have for 2 punched eggs say and write 9 ¬ flat out have to..

The coffee is very thin, unfriendly staff. On my question about the existing teas I was unfriendly dumped with the words "I will not list all 30 varieties now". The location of the bistro is good, otherwise not recommended.

We had a flamkuchen and some beer. These were both fine. Unfortunately it is not possible to pay with a card.

Super tasty and cozy

Horrible. We ordered four flammekuchen for four of us. Since this is the only food this place serves except some drinks, we thought it will be good. But we were so grossly wrong. Everything about the food was wrong. The dough was raw, the toppings were also raw, the flammekuchens except in the periphery was runny and full of liquid. Probably the cook forgot to switch on the oven. Loading the though with loads of uncooked toppings and charging extra for them is not how you treat your customers. Don't get deceived by some good reviews here and on TripAdvisor. The only good thing about the place is probably the location. Honestly if it was possible I would have given -1 star.

Good service Nice and easy so you step inside during weinfest. And not expensive.

Good coffee nice staff clean and tidy and the location is beautiful the view of the beautiful old timber frame of the houses priceless

A bistro just-bottled beer, warmed-up ready meals, one should not expect anything from the high culinary art here ... for a coffee in between-quite good- hence four bistro stars

Beautiful view. Operation not very friendly. Sweet wine not sweet, would have liked colder. Beer is also not recommended? But again beautiful view.

Nice terrace on the market place

Nice local dishes and German beer. It is perfectly situated in the center of town at a busy place. A good restaurant to sit outside on a sunny and warm day and enjoy the surrounding buildings. It is rather small inside and you need to be lucky to get a table.

great food at great price

My steak tasted sour and somehow tainted, according to the waiter, supposedly the sauce, which my stomach couldn't confirm for the rest of the day !!! My wife's vintner's roast was heated several times completely dry and again this sour taste (this cannot come from an alleged grape red wine juis) My daughter's pea soup was below canned food quality, the bridal potato didn't deserve the name but the salad could be eaten ... .. Craftsmanship completely wrong Tastes worse and then spoiled meat actually a case for the health department ..... but great response ..... after discussions we did not have to pay the two main measures but my birthday was different! !!

We were served like second class customers. After we were told that there would be no more food on the menu (time 3:30 p.m.), did we order an apple strudel that was frozen inside ?! Then, funnily enough, our “neighbors” were treated to a “delicious” tarte flambée. How so? I would not recommend this "bistro" ...

Top service, very good regional cuisine, very good regional wines "Haus der Beste Schoppen, certified quality host ServiceQualität Germany. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails and It drinks. Regional and national beer specialties as well as a well spoken English round off the company impression.
